EU listed companies (and other public interest entities like insurers and credit institutions) with the exception of very small “micro undertakings”

Reporting in:
• 2025 based on FY2024 data for listed large companies with 500+ employees
• 2027 based on FY2026 data for listed SMEs

EU companies exceeding two of these three criteria, regardless of listing status:
• 250+ employees on average in the financial year
• €25 Million+ on the balance sheet 
• €50 Million+ in net turnover

Non-EU Companies

Non-EU companies with turnover above €150 Million and which have either an EU subsidiary already subject to the CSRD or an EU branch generating €40 Million in revenue

Non-EU companies are also covered if they are listed on an EU market and meet the Listed or Large criteria above, with corresponding applicability deadlines from 2025-2027.
