Il nostro nome
‘Vaayu’ is the Sanskrit word for ‘Air’ and its origin extends to other derivations — atmosphere, weather, breeze, gas, wind and the Sanskrit word ‘Jalvaayu’, meaning climate. Our name is reflective of our environmental impact and carbon software solution and our work to protect the natural environment surrounding the Earth and those that exist within it.
Our Founder
Namrata Sandhu, Founder & CEO
Namrata Sandhu is the Founder and CEO of Vaayu. Her 20 year career has spanned the Arcadia Group and leading global retailer Zalando, causing her to find a critical gap in the market for a real-time, carbon-tracking tool to speed up reduction at scale.
Luca Schmid, CTO e cofondatore
Luca Schmid è il CTO e cofondatore di Vaayu. Luca è uno sviluppatore full-stack con un'esperienza decennale. Autodidatta, conosce oltre 10 linguaggi di programmazione ed è specializzato in Data Science.
